Today was the last day of kindy for my big girl. This is the commemorative photo we took with a ‘last day’ sign – coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers – of course!
It’s been a lovely year and I wanted to make cute cards to go with our teacher gifts.
My cards were inspired by these layouts – Kylie & Inge, both of which were part of a back to school challenge in August. I really wanted to use the Schoolhouse DSP, which is how my searching lead me to these particular designs.
The school colours are nice & bright – purple & turquoise and I added in yellow because that’s the colour for the kindy block.
As you know, I love being able to make cards personal – it’s much more special when the recipient knows it’s been made just for them! And the extra touch for these cards was getting Alexa to write her name on a Washi Label tag. How cute is 4 year old handwriting!
I hope her teachers have a lovely summer break, they’ve certainly earned it! Anyone who has the patience to work with 4 & 5 year olds has my respect!!! Kelly x
